Michael A. Ruane, Chairman
Michael is the Managing Partner of TA Associates Realty, a Boston based real estate advisory and investment firm formed in 1983 as part of TA Associates. In 1987, TA Realty became a privately held company. The firm manages approximately $8 billion in assets and has a real estate portfolio that is well diversified around the country. He currently serves as Chairman of J-PAC LLC and Medipharm Manufacturing Group. An alumnus of Providence College with an MBA from the Wharton School, Michael is the current Chairman of the Providence College Board of Trustees. Michael and his wife, Liz, reside in Wenham.

Lexanne Abbott
Lexanne is a former marketing director of Converse. She is a Stanford alumna and holds an MBA from Wharton. Lexanne is very active in various community affairs and served as a co-chair of the Shore Country Day School's 2002 Spring Auction. Lexanne lives in Manchester with her two children and was recently elected to serve as a member of the Northeast Health System Board.

Katherine A. Barrand
Kate is in charge of Marketing and Development for North Shore Music Threatre. She was President of KB Partners and served as Founder & Chief Marketing Officer at Clareon Corporation. Kate currently sits on the boards of Horizons for Homeless Children and Shore Country Day School. Kate received a BA from Tufts University and an MDA from Boston University. She lives in Beverly with her family. Her husband Stephen is a physician on the Northeast medical staff.

Kevin M. Barry
Kevin is a Vice-President on the Emerging Companies equity team at Wellington Management Company, LLP. He serves as a Co-Chair of the Special Gifts Committee for Northeast Health Foundation's Care YOU Deserve capital campaign. Kevin received a BA from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. Kevin lives in Beverly Farms with his wife and three children.

Donat Fournier
Don is President and Chief Executive Officer of Beverly National Corporation, the holding company of Beverly National Bank. Don has over 25 years of diverse experience in commercial banking and assumed the presidency of this large community bank in 2003. Don has a BS in Finance from Ausson College and he lives with his wife, Rosemary, in Beverly.

Joseph W. Haley, Esq.
Joe is a senior partner in the law firm of Goodwin Procter with a practice focused on real estate development, acquisitions and equity and mortgage financing. He has served on the firm's management and executive committees. Joe is a trustee of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Northeast Health System and chairs the investment committee of Beverly Hospital. A University of Maine alumnus and Cornell Law School graduate, Joe and his wife Pansy reside in Pride's Crossing.

E. Miles Herter
Miles is a retired investment banker with Legg Mason. Miles is a director of CAB Health and Recovery Services, and a trustee of FCD Educational Services, Inc. A Harvard alumnus, Miles and his wife Lee live in Manchester.

Jonathan G. Jaques, M.D.
Jonathan is a board certified anesthesiologist practicing at Beverly Hospital. He and his wife, Becky, are very active in the community with Becky owning and managing the Beverly Farms Bookstore. An avid sailor, Jonathan graduated from the United States Naval Academy and received his MD Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The Jaques' reside in Manchester with their two children.

Caleb Loring, III
Caleb manages Essex Street Associates, an investment management firm providing investment advice to individuals and families. Caleb and his family have long been active in community affairs and Caleb sits on many community boards, including the Salvation Army, Episcopal Church Foundation and the Grants Management Committee of the Essex County Community Foundation. Caleb is a Dartmouth alumnus and holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business. He and his wife Bonny reside in Beverly.

Kurt A. Melden
Kurt served as a chief scientist at Juniper Networks, Inc and was a co-founder, Director, and Chief Technical Officer at Redstone Communications. Kurt received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He graduated from St. Mark's School in Southborough and currently serves as a trustee. Kurt and his wife Therese reside in Manchester.

Nancy Palmer
Nancy held a number of marketing and sales positions at EG&G, Inc. and General Electric before leaving the corporate world and joining Patton Consultant Services, a national agency dedicated to improving the effectiveness of not-for-profit organizations. She is currently treasurer of the Board of Directors for the North Shore Music Theatre, a Trustee for Northeast Hospital Corporation, a former Chair of North Shore United Way and the Friend's of Hunt Hospital, and a former Trustee of St. John's Preparatory School. She is acting Chair of the Gordon College Co-operative Education Employment Advisory Board and a member of the Massachusetts Hospital Association Trustee Advisory Council. Nancy is a graduate of Lesley College and the Katharine Gibbs School. She and her husband, Joe, reside in Danvers.

A. Heaton Robertson, III
Heaton is a senior partner in Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., the oldest and largest private bank in the country. He is partner-in-charge of the bank's commercial banking business firm-wide. A graduate of Yale University and Northeastern University (MBA), Heaton resides in Hamilton with his wife, Henrietta.

Frederick G. P. Thorne, Chairman Emeritus
Fred is the Principal in Frederick Thorne, LLC, an investment consulting company. He is the former Chairman of Harbor Capital Management Co., the investment firm he founded in 1979. Fred serves as a Trustee of Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary as Chair of the Investment and Development Committee. He also serves as a Trustee of Northeast Health System and recently chaired the investment committee of Beverly Hospital. A graduate of Bowdoin College, Fred chaired the Bowdoin Board of Trustees and also chaired Bowdoin's recent $130 million Capital Campaign. In 2003, he was elected Trustee Emeritus. Fred and his wife Sue live in Manchester.

Joseph F. Trustey
Joe is a Managing Partner at Summit Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. In this position, he is on the board of numerous private companies. Prior to this, he was a consultant with Bain and Company and a Captain in the United States Army. He received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard University. He resides in Wenham with his wife, Kristine, and their four children.
